What Kumasi Asante Kotoko needs now is what I termed a morden face training facility that comprises, four to six pitches of which one must be an artificial pitch, a well equiped gym, a swimming pool, three star hostel facility with conference rooms among others. I strongly believe it can be done. If SAMATAX could build their own academy with GH 40,000.00. Kotoko can do better. It is in this light I find it encouraging Kotoko's new sponsorship deal with Tigo. I am impressed though I do not know the full details but if it is true that the management have decided to go for the Training Facility and A bus then I have a reason to believe they can achieve greater things for the club. We can also ask the supporters to build their own stands of which i call it(YE SI YE DAN ATENAMU) I will like to start a campaing of (Forget the league tiles and build the House)and i know my fellow supporter will help so that we can have a befiting Stadium for our self. When you go to Europe and other parts of the world,there are teams there whom has never won any major trophies and yet they have all the facilities which makes a football club complete so what prevent us at Kotoko to do the same rather then always think of how we can win the premiership of which comes with so much lost of reavenue to the club.For now the best legacy any management team can bestole on team Kotoko is a stadium and not the premier league or the champions league. | Posted By: ben Posted On: May 30, 2008 Views: 1145 | GENERATE MORE CASH Supporters of this great club are even prepared to buy new Kotoko T shirts every sunday that we have a match. we are ready to contribute to make it the best club in Africa but those at the helm of affairs are not realising this. what stops management from releasing new kotoko T shirts anytime we have to play big matches! yours is to place such T shirts at the various gates, advertise one week before the match that all fans entering the stadium should buy one and wear before entering. i can assure you that some 'die hard' ones like.... are prepared to buy more than two and use some as head gear.give it a try and you will see the revenue. |
