Madonna is already less than 3 million from topping Mariah in worldwide sells. Mariah has now about 7 million and Madonna is at about 4.5 million sold. THis is albums sold not shipped. Now, Mariah's album is almost out of gas, no more 2 discs, dvd, bonus stuff. but if she wins big at the Grammys, she will see another million in the US alone. If Madonna's next 2 singles do well, at least worldwide, and if she tours extensively, she will sell good as well. In the end both albums will about tie, Which is good for Madonna because most likely Mariahs good luck will end especially in Europe next time around. |

According to the modest estimates, MD has sold more than 4 million Confessions in slightly more than 1 month (some say, she has sold 5.5 million, which can be true).
