She is not in your face and can appeal to kids and Grandma's. She never had a real social comment to make and never made a social impact. On the other hand, Madonna was never safe. She has been dangerous from day one. Has always had something to say and has made a social impact on popular culture. Because of that Madonna will be remember as the one of the leading females figures of the last 25 years. Not Mariah. At the end it doesn't matter who sold more records or more awards. Mariah will be remember for her voice and that is all. Madonna will be remember for whole lot more. |

First, there's no such chart that tracks #1's on a worldwide scale. 2. If madonna was awarded with ifpi for selling big in europe, try to look at these mariah's: 2000 World Music awards: Special Award for World's Best-Selling Female Artist of the Millennium Billboard's artist of the decade diamond award for selling over 150 million albums- hte first female to receive this award. IFPI platinum awards in 1999 * one point is clear darling. they are both very huge music superstars that deserves a great recognition. now, darling if you would agree that we should stop all of these craps and nonsense fightings that would be fine. |
