Supreme for the first seven, untouchable for the rest of the 90s decade. Time showed us the country girl turn into diva. Already we saw a wane in her power and appeal. The diva who didn't know she was one had begin to fall. In 2000 she did have a No.1, 2001 her "HORRIBLE" alblum only got her at No. 2 - Glitter was far from being the greatest film ever, but hardly the worse, as cheesy as it was. But what do you expect from someone who titles their albums "Daydream" "Rainbow" & "Butterfly" - Mariah was a beauty in the 90s, she has gained weight, just yesterday I saw a picture of her from Live 8, and her face looked like that of a carebear. But I saw this pic of Madonna at one of her tours, and she looked like a prettier version of Golem, from LOTR. |

As for Madonna and her falling of her high horse, thats so funny, because I was watching Degrassi, and there was something ever so similiar to that. Any way, she probably hadn't taken her prune juice that day, no Im kidding, serves her right though, to be acting the way she did at the Live 8, trying to manipulate the situation and attempt to display her influence, I wouldn't be surprised if Mariah performed "We Belong Together" out of SPITE towards Madonna. Madonna pleaded to other artists to shun Mariah, but it only flew back in her face, as they welcomed the Butterfly Empress in their arms (Paul McCartney chatting and laughing with Mariah during the end of the show)- Which could have only burned Madonna. When is so known that Madonna was practically begging Paul to partake on her new Album. And if Madonna is SO great, not that she's not, :D but has she won even one award at the World Music Awards, AKA the Olymics for Singers & Entertainers. These Award winners are selected purely on record sales, hence it is the music fans who determine the winnders. |

As an entertainer okay, as a person, hell-2-the-naw, as Whitney would say. Madonna does have more of a drive than Mariah, and more experience. But Mariah is smooth, and has such an utterly powerful voice. As for the VMAs, Mariah was requested, and Madonna - Madonna who? But I seriously doubt Madonna would have done such a thing as to risk her performance by drinking and partying from Friday to three in the morning of Saturday, when she has a performance on Sunday, which Mariah did.
