Either way, I didn't buy a GameCube to play RPGs, which is why I bought the PS2 as well. Both are very enjoyable, but some more RPGs on either console might convince me to go out and actually spend some of my money for once. |

Contrary to what some people think *glares at nayr* GC has some great games and is a well-rounded system overall. The only thing it is severely lacking in is RPGs (and online play, but that's an entirely different topic altogether). Improvement in this category would make the system infinitely better. Maybe a new Ogre Battle would help things out, but I haven't heard anything about that. Oh well. I guess I'll just keep dreaming then..... |

I don't really think they're much for them anyways, it mostly seems to appeal to different genres of gaming. What it could use though, is more of those RPGs in the style of Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance, and D&D Heroes, since it comes standard with 4 controller hookups. Thankfully, X-Men Legends was released on Gamecube, and Tales of Symphonia, as well. 4 player Tales of Symphonia is mega fun. :D 1 player ToS though...not so much. :P |
