| Posted By: stupidjones Posted On: Oct 17, 2004 Views: 898 | RE: KERRY WILL NEVER GET MY VOTE! i won't vote for kerry. not because i'm a huge george bush fan (i'm currently in afghanistan with the army) or because i'm a republican. i'm actually very independent. but kerry is not a realist, he just says what people would like to hear. if he was elected, the millitary would go to ****, and our international credibility would go with it. he says he'll pull out of the middle east by the end of his first term, but if we do that, then both afghanistan and iraq would turn into complete chaos, because they don't have a firm government yet. he also continually changes his 'stance' on the war over here, and it seems to reflect what the polls say the national opinion is. to me, as a soldier, that is the most important aspect of this election, and if he doesn't have at least a realistic plan on what he's going to do, then he doesn't have my vote. |

Second off, the terms 'communist' and 'dictator' in their true definitions, actually contradict each other. Thirdly, if he was a dictator, why is he working to install democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq? Seems to me, if he was a dictator, he'd just annex those countries, make them part of the United States, and sell their people into slavery. Next time you have an urge to post a comment, please have something to back it up. (Although, he does look like a monkey, I'll give you that. But Kerry looks like a horse, so I think the point is mute.) |

The whole oil barron oligarchy thing. Anyway, the Comm. party in the US is a good thing, keeps us reminded that we can have as many public political views as we want & all. What I wanna know is if everyone has such a hardon for John McCain, how come he's not Pres? Is it cuz he's not a rich enough to go 3rd-party on their asses and can't go for either main party cuz he doesn't conform to either platform? His name is like the magic word in the debates. Thoughts? I'm saying this because for once in my life, I am TRULY interested in the election. From what I've read so far, I think Bush IS the way to vote. However, I'm kind of afraid that Bush will stay in the other countries too long. I'm really on the edge of my seat waiting for him to pull out, because I'm so scared we'll have another Vietnam situation on our hands. But then, in retrospect, I guess the public wouldn't let that happen. I don't know... I'm not far enough into politics, government, economics, or sociology to know what the **** I'm talking about. By the way, Stupidjones, I really respect you. Partly because you know what you're talking about, but mostly because you're doing such a good job making total sense and still standing up for what you believe in.
