I'm not going to vote this time.

Why bother? Everybody runing sucks, think of it this way. (Sorry for the nonstarwars fans) vote for Bush and you vote for Darth Vader, you vote for Kerry and you get Jar Jar Binks. I'm just not going to vote, either way we are down the **** tube.

So my world government thing wont take off anytime soon, but with new tech., and the X prise being won we are one step closer to it. English seems like it will win over as the global language, as most countries have it as their seccond language, I was hoping for Japanese. online we are already mostly one big nation, how many of you people arent from the US? The internet is making a larger impreshion on us everyday. The older people who spent all their time in politics and not some on a PC are dieing out, soon people like me will be old enuf to run for government, and we know exactly what the people want, not becouse we look at them like Bush or Kerry, but becouse we are the people, not some rich guy that dosent even have to wipe his ass if he dosent want to.

Sorry about that, I , um, yea..........

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

I'm not from the US, dragonmaster, and I can't help but think that the need for a Homeland Security Dept (due to other countries attacking etc etc) negates your idea that globally, we are all becoming one big nation. Have you travelled much? I think you may be aware of what people in WV think (Is that where you're from?), and so I think it would be a great idea to run for politics locally, if that's what you want to do. However, some little rice farmer in China may not want you for world emporer!! :) As for the election, it seems to me that Bush's greatest strength is his wife, and Kerry's greatest weakness is his wife. I think that may be an indicator for getting the much-coveted women's vote!

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

If you like the idea of a world government (I couldn't think of a worse idea personally), then you should be voting for John Kerry. He wants to give more power and money to the United Nations, require the US to pass a global test to go to war, and relinquish the rights and responsibilities of America to Kofi Annan in general.

Did you know that it's written into the United Nations charter that someone from the United States can NEVER be the Secretary General of the United Nations? We're the only country restricted. It's time for us to leave this anti-American organization and tell them to get out of our country and go pound sand.

UN out of everywhere.

rgeurgteatnig smoe rethrioc

couldn't have said it better myself. I'm glad you're aware of what you are doing. But of course, I shouldn't comment too much, as I would imagine by choosing Brittney out of all the women you will never have a chance with, I suspect you are a little young to to be considered 'wise council'

However, that you took the time to screw with all your letters is impressive. Almost as impressive as calling me a whore. Ha.. you're so clever.

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

Anyway, i dont feel like arguing politics, talking about Dragons, or even Evanescence. i've been in to see the doc. and stuff and I'm a bit down, again. My mom is also having surgery Friday, so if you could spare a sec. for a little prayer.

How about a few jokes? That normaly helps.

so lame

An extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, which had left his bodily systems extremely upset. Upon making several false alarm trips to the bathroom, he decided the latest episode was another and stayed put.

He suddenly filled his bed with diarrhea and was embarrassed beyond his ability to remain rational. In a complete loss of composure he jumped out of bed, gathered up the bed sheets, and threw them out the hospital window.

A drunk was walking by the hospital when the sheets landed on him. He started yelling, cursing, and swinging his arms violently trying to get the unknown things off, and ended up with the soiled sheets in a tangled pile at his feet. As the drunk stood there staring down at the sheets, a hospital security guard who watched the whole incident walked up and asked,"What the heck is going on?"

The drunk, still staring down, replied:

"I think I just beat the crap out of a ghost."

I hate it when.......

You've been standing in a grocery store line-up for at least 10 minutes, you're next in line and a cashier opens up a line. Inevitably, all the people in the line behind you run over to the new line and get served before you do.

The boss calls you on his speakerphone.

You buy a new pair of shoes that fit perfectly in the shoe store but start to rub and cause blisters on your feet the moment you actually start wearing them.

Someone 90 years old is doing 30 mph on the expressway in the passing lane.
You ride there tail and they can't see you. You blast your horn and they can't hear you.

What's worse than a cold toilet seat? A warm toilet seat. There's only one way short of magic it could have gotten warm. At first, you're almost thankful it's warm, then you get to thinking... this is the result of another person's ass-warmth.

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

Aurora:

Sorry for calling you a whore, but you insinuated that I did not think for myself. Also, you probably didn't get it, but I refered to Mrs. Spears not out of a personal desire to do her, but because I'm using Bob Dole as a nickname and he was in the Pepsi ads with her.

It's funny. I can't legitimately agree with a conservative stance without being accused of spewing rhetoric. I suppose if I said "NO WAR FOR OIL!!!" then I'd truely be thinking for myself.

Just so you know I'm not a Republican. However, this November will be my second time voting for Bush in Florida.

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

It's not that you agreed with the conservative stance. While I do not agree with it, had you come in here and stated some bumper sticker comment about Bush or Kerry, it would have been the same.
Unfortunatly it is what most people do. It is difficult to seperate the mud from the issue, and most people just don't care enough.

I loathe Bush, always will. However, that said, I would still rather you vote for him than not at all.
I am sorry I did not connect the Mrs. Spears/Dole thing, not a commercial I have seen.

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

The Bob Dole adds with Mrs. Spears are kinda old school by now. They were out in the late 90s I think. Especially since I guess there are a lot of kids on this message board, I'm sure they wouldn't get it.

So, Canada, eh? I've been there. It's cold as hell, and in the summer, no place has air conditioning. In fact, it kinda sucks, just for the weather alone. Then there's the F-ing French people. But I was pretty much the moniest guy in Canada. Too bad there's not much available strange.

You know what? I'm kinda embarassed to say this, as I consider myself in the know, but I don't even know who the prime minister of Canada is. But I did see Charlie Crist on a plane yesterday. He's the state Attorney General of the state of Florida. So the fact that I know who he is makes me feel better about not knowing the prime minister of Canada. I'm going to google it.

RE: I'm not going to vote this time.

It's not cold here.... Well not where I am anyway. Actually, if you're in FL, I'm sure you would consider it cold. However, "IF" we get snow, it only stays for like 1-2 days. Today I am wearing a T-shirt and sandles.
And in summer, well, it's only hot enough for AC for a week, then it's just in the (hang on have to convert it) high 80's low 90's.
I'm around Vancouver in BC. West coast.
The PM is Paul Martin, we elected him last June.

How old are you, if I may inquire, and do you use the name Bob Dole all the time, or only when discussing politics?
