Posted By: sabin Posted On: Nov 1, 2004 Views: 2376	exdeath is even easier than kefka! really! sure, almagest can be a pain if you're on low level, but it only took off like 1/4 of my HPs, and that was without big guard. he's a wimp. set everyone to mimic and get white magic, GP toss and call. i actually killed him with minimal healing and just threw gold at 'im all the time, he's EASY!!! i mean every hit got off 6600 hp at them! i just had to laugh for several minutes afterwards! he's even easier than kefka!

He is just plain the baddest mother****er I ever did see. However, the difficulty involved in fighting him piled in insignificance in comparison to Exdeath. Exdeath almost made me cry. On more than one occasion. Although I thought he was a pretty dorky enemy, he looked real cool and kicked the hell out of my guys a multitude of times before I actually beat him.

FF6 was my first real RPG, and the entire reason that I'm such an RPG fan today. I bought the FF5 & FF6 combo for the PS 'bout a year ago, but never got around to finishing it. Got to the part where something happens to Galuf in the second world, but then quit. Anyway, if X-death is easier than Kefka, then he'd have to be REALLY weak. And I mean REALLY weak.

(Edgar, Celes, Setzer). I did that last year, played out the whole game with just them. When I got to kefkas tower and beat every boss, i got to the final battle and the third dude (i dunno its name, the one that looks like a girl and a horse, its right b4 kefka) whatever his name is he killed setzer and celes so i was down to just edgar. Edgar vs Kefka, AND I WON! this shows you what a wimpy loser kefka is, do not compare him to someone like ex-death, ha ha ha what a silly question. ex death was MUCH harder.

If you have proper status protection, then he's not that difficult, though still not very easy. Kefka's got obscene attack power, both physical and magical. His only weaknesses are his laughable defense and his coding (since he's very fast, but has turns where he just does nothing). They're both different styles of fighters, and I don't think it's fair to compare them.

I mean no disrespect but most of the bosses in 6 are too easy. Kefka isn't very hard, in 6 it's very easy to make a godlike team. Even if you don't have Genji/Offering combo or Gem Box or Economizer it still isn't that hard. I think 5's job system amplifies the difficulty as you can't make Jack-of-All+Trades very easily. On the other hand If you're having trouble with Neo-Exdeth then you're completely normal. I'd question the abilities of anyone who has no difficulty with the tree. Exdeth is so ludicrously powerful that you pretty much must use a massively cheap strategy. Bahamut Mimic, Double Summon, Coin Toss, Double X-Fight, all of these STILL may not win before Almagest tears you apart. No matter how many tricks you pull his pure power might be enough to destroy, I know more than 1 trick to the fight and he can still kill me 2 times out of 3.

I wiped out all of them with the same 4 guys throughout. There are just too many over-powered relics in the game that make it way too easy to beat.

Kefka's only true instant death attack is Hyperdrive for 7000+ damage, which can be negated with Life 2 or Life 3. Fallen One might make him seem worse, but it's easy to heal up from cause he's slow, and it also lets your characters use their 'limit' techs a la Hell's Judgement in FF VIII. Let us not forget: FF5 does not give you Ultima, Quick, Economizers, and Gem Boxes. Kefka is a great villain, but even as a God he can't fight worth crap.
Posted By: Real Canadian Posted On: Oct 25, 2004 Views: 835	Neo Exdeath is WAY Harder! Kefka may talk a lot of smack, but his fighting skills are sub-par at best. Give any one of your fighters (Terra, Celes, Edgar) the Gengi Glove & Offering Relics and your 2 best swords (Atma Weapon/Ragnarok or Illumina), and Kefka will fill in exactly 1 round. 2 rounds if your max HP and level is not high enough. Neo Exdeath is harder in so many ways: Causes all Status Effects with Grand Train(or whatever its called). It really hurts. Especially if you don't have the Mighty Guard (Big Guard)Blue Magic Skill. The only way I found to kill Neo Exdeath is to mimic Bahamut, use GP Toss, use 2-swords with X-Srtike ability, and use a Red Mage 2-spell ability with the Summon skills.
