Old Man

Ok, I'm going to make a couple of arguments for the Old Man Pumpkin...I am in no way affiliated with the creator and/or creators, but I will give away my biases by saying that I'm from MA and I do a lot of hiking in New Hampshire, so of course, I miss the Old Man.

1) The pumpkin is OBVIOUSLY very creative - very different than the rest o'the submissions.

2) Sh*t, that must have taken a lot of time!

3) There's no way that the pumpkin could have been created by using any sort of stencil/pattern, which only adds to it's awesomeness.

4) C'mon! It's the OLD MAN!

Regardless of whoever wins, this pumpkin was kiss-ass. Kudos to the creator!

RE: Old Man

I'm sorry, I looked, I squinted, I tried really hard...but it just looks like a pumpkin with chunks missing from half. I can maybe vaguely see a resemblance in the same way that a rock in the ocean can look like a thumb or something. Help me out here?

RE: Old Man

It's carved to look like the Old Man of the Mountain, a famous rock formation in New Hampshire, that sadly collapsed recently. In fact, it looks just like it.
I suspect Photoshop has been used for this one.

"Famous" in this case meaning, "Famous to people who already know about it, which is apparently a limited number"
