GirlUWant is a disgrace

GirlUWant, You completely contradict all that is DEVO and all that is aweosme. You said you wanted Bush (anti devo), you post lame comments (anti devo), and you misuse the name of the song "GirlUWant" (because you are lame, and that is totaly against devo). Being a DEVOTEE, I am against all that is considdered cool, but reacting to that is a method that is lame is just mongoloid.

You're just as bad as Carlito Caribbean Crackhead. Being against everything that is cool is just as bad as being against everything that is not completely cool (which is funny in CCC's case because he's a dork). How about liking or disliking things based on their own merits instead of whether or not they're popular?

When I was totally into DEVO I wore very punk clothes and was a Democrat! I bought their greatest hits CD a few years ago after not hearing them for a long time and had all the lyrics memorized.

I guess I have devolved...sorry...

DEVO OBSESSO - Have you ever seen them in concert? I regret never getting to see them back in the flower pot "Spud Boy" days!

Those of us that liked Devo in school were not of the majority. The bulk of people just knew Whip It and Working in a Coal Mine, which are two of my least favorite Devo songs!

oh please, of course ive seen them. and to re enforce my statement i will point out Four things:

1. They are not flower pots, They are called Energy domes.

2. Spud Boy is not meant to be put in quotations.

3. Working in a coal mine never got that popular, it was on the european exports or new traditionalists.

4. Whip it was a great song, although it too is not my favorite (smart patrol/mr.dna is my favorite) it shouldn't be your least favorite. Pick somthing off of Shout, Even the band didnt really like that. and Alan Myers left. Oh that alan

I'm not sure which albums I had...that was a long time ago! I think I had one of them on cassettee tape! Beautiful World, Speed Racer, Girl U Want, Whip It! were for sure on ones that I had. I had the one with the guy with a tan hat on the cover...Satisfaction was on that one?

Did you see them in concert a long time ago? Sorry for calling the energy domes flower pots, but I didn't remember that.

In fact, Elvis Costello is pretty good. the one you remember with the guy with the hat on it was called "Are We Not Men?". Ive seen then once in 1982, and in 1996 at the lallapolooza. i wanted to see them in LA but i couldnt. I didnt mean to give you crap. I was just saying you were being a bad fan, but im glad youve got some memories back.
