The thing that really makes Futsal sweet is the fact that you can get more players and fields going then you can with indoor soccer and the boards. You can average at least two courts to one indoor field. More courts mean more ppl playing! More ppl playing means more attention to the game in itself. We all agree that soccer/futbol rules and is the best sport! |

Too much stoppage in the no boards. Its just a new way for facilities to save money and not build a field with dasher boards. |

Are we playing Soccer or Hockey? I once as a GK (boards)brought the ball w/my foot back in to the GK area and picked it up, and was called for a Foul! What's up with that? Give me one good reason why I can not do that, remember soccer now? The other GK (same game)got the ball and called a time out! huh? Then there's the 3 lines????Hockey, I guess? It is not to stop cherry pickers, if so make the field smaller! 2 Minute foul???? Hockey again? Either yellow, or Red not Blue!? No sliding??? If there is no one in playing area, then why not slide to reach that pass to the back post and score a goal? Do you call it a post in Indoors? You take the beauty of the game away, when a defender slides to save a goal or block a shot! The rules make the game what it is, yes Futsal has some different rules then outdoor soccer, but FIFA made this sport the official indoor game, making Futsal more like Soccer then Indoor (boards!) No Soccer coach in the world sets up a practice for SOCCER in an Oval shape and uses boards! It's no boards for me! |

For the younger players they get more touches with boards and develop there skills quicker. The Boarded game is its own game!!!! |
