| Posted By: Suzanne Posted On: Aug 27, 2006 Views: 2327 | Wooden Heart Inn This is our favorite B&B in Door County. The log house is so welcoming and the owner's, John and Judy are wonderful hosts, making everyone that stays there feel like they are at home. We have stayed there 3 times and I can't imagine staying anywhere else on our future visits to Door County. Last year, when they were booked at a time that we thought about visiting, we actually changed our plans ! |
| Posted By: Annabel Haskett Posted On: Aug 18, 2005 Views: 2804 | Inn on Maple You will not find a better breakfast or finer hosts than at the Inn on Maple in Sister Bay. The rooms are beautifully appointed and hosts Bill and Louise Robbins will accommodate you in a most pleasant way. We have spent six of the last eight summers with them, sometimes twice in a summer because they have been so good to us. Muffins for breakfast is just the start to a wide variety of weekly menus. Louise and Bill share with their guests at breakfast what might be the latest DC event or experience and give great advice about less croweded beaches and parks. If you like an intimate stay and courteous and gentle hosts, you won't find a better place in DC. |

Charming and warm! Comfortable rooms. A comon area with a fire place that is a good place to curl up and read in the evening. Friendly and knowledgable Inn Keepers. Fantastic breakfast! In the Heart of Sister Bay so that you can leave your car and walk around town. |
| Posted By: C Rogers Posted On: May 23, 2005 Views: 1631 | White Gull Inn When my husband and I had our candlelight dinner at the White Gull Inn during our winter anniversary stay, my first remark to him, with tears in my eyes, was that it was the most romantic thing I had ever done. It is truly that and more. Another moment that sticks out in my mind about the White Gull Inn was a summer fish boil dinner some years ago. A couple was there with family celebrating the couple's 50th wedding anniversary. All of a sudden, the husband broke out in song, singing, "Let Me Call You Sweetheart". There was not a dry eye in the place. I always associate White Gull Inn with the most romantic of experiences. |
