RE: Spelling

(lol, cough lol)

Me, with a hooker? They have to make money like everybody else I guess. I'll never get that hard up for sex. Besides, I have to realy love the person who I'm with, I'm not a one night stand guy. There arent to many of us left who feel that way apparently. (I wonder why that is....)

The sorry was for my atrushious spelling. See I did it again, great word use, but ****ty ****ty spelling. Is there a (free) spell check that I can use with firefox that I don't have to have a second program runing, or copypast thing. I think I'm going to go back to explorer just for the spellcheck.

RE: Spelling

What kills me about spelling is when they decide that so many people screw up the spelling so they just change it to where it is okay, like judgment - judgement, canceled - cancelled. Check Microsoft and it will say the wrong spelling is okay!!! I was at Dillard's today and one of the signs said:

RE: Spelling

There is one attached to Firefox. Don't use a browser that you know nothing about.

RE: Spelling

I don't think IE has it, or at least I could not find it anywhere. You know how Bill is, he hides stuff in his programs. Firefox is the way to go.

Spelling is not one of my strong points, but I can use a dictionary if I choose to, but I seldom do. When I write something that is going somewhere besides a message board/bbs/IM, I spell check it. Here, probably not.

RE: Spelling

Same here, if it's something important, I write it in a word processor program first. Otherwise, you can figure out what I mean.
I don't mind misspelled words so much as I hate using the wrong word entirely. Like to, too, and two, their and they're, etc. If you misspell a word, no big deal. If you use the wrong one, you make no sense.

Word Usage

What gets me is when people use alot -- instead of the correct a lot....

A lot of people use 'a lot' wrongly.

RE: Spelling

OMG - I hate that as well, but not as much as the improper use of the apostrophe! I also hate "till" as in Our store hours are 9 till 5! A till is something you put money in, your store hours are 9 to 5, just like the movie!
