Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1221 | Electronics I have not clue about electronics, but I am so thankful that there are people that are really smart about that stuff out there! They make our lives mo' better! For instance, my iron quit working...I won't even try...I'll just get a new one! |

Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1216 | RE: Electronics LOL! Yes, and I even plugged something else in the outlet to make sure that it wasn't the outlet! |

Posted By: Joe Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1207 | RE: Electronics GirlUWant, why do laugh at your iron being broke, do realize that you have to buy a new one! |
Posted By: SDE Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1203 | RE: Electronics Buy a new Iron!!!! BAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1202 | RE: Electronics I was laughing at you thinking that I was so unsmart that I wouldn't remember that I have to plug the sucker in! Actually, I am really smart, because if I have to iron, I probably won't be purchase it! |
Posted By: SDE Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1199 | RE: Electronics It is called "DRYCLEANING" Then you don't have to Iron, or plug it in, you just have to pay $.99 per shirt. |
Posted By: observant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1186 | RE: Electronics Maybe it's just on the cool setting. (don't push the steam button on that setting BTW, you'll just have a wet shirt.(or pants (or undies, whatever))) |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1183 | RE: Electronics I never knew guys cared this much or knew this much about the iron! I'm sure that it wasn't on the cool setting because it was on "7" which is the hottest setting for cotton! Thanks for the input...I guess...I am GirlUWant not Stupid Girl! |
Posted By: SDE Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1181 | RE: Electronics I am smart about ironing because, I wear a suit to work everyday (unless dealing with contractors, but that is another story). And my mommy taught me how to use the iron. |
Posted By: observant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1179 | RE: Electronics Uncle Sam taught me how to iron. < shudder > Say, SDE I read what your occupation is on last weeks board but I'm too lazy to go back and check it. What is it you do again? Are you a pathologist? Mortician? Enbalmer? Coroner? |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1177 | RE: Electronics Once he said he was an embalmer and another time he said that he was an emblamer...I'm beginning to think that he is not sure what he is! LOL! |
Posted By: observant Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1175 | RE: Electronics I think I'd be grossed out by being an enbalmer but I suppose it's like being a doctor, EMS person, or homocide detective. Once you deal with enough dead bodies, it doesn't phase you anymore. I have a few paramedic friends and the stories they tell just gross me out but they laugh about it. |
Posted By: SDE Posted On: Jan 9, 2005 Views: 1171 | RE: Electronics I am a Funeral Director/Embalmer -- and I am the proud owner of a building that will be a funeral home in a couple of weeks or maybe a couple of months. Yes, it is like being a Dr, except I don't have to worry about getting sued for malpractice. Coroner would be cool, as would a Medical Examiner... Pathologisteseses have too much schooling..... |
