| Posted By: Paul Gerrard Posted On: Oct 23, 2005 Views: 840 | Reunion 06 As I live in New Zealand, timing is everthing for me, however, I just happen to be back in Prescot for 2 weeks in late Sept/early Oct of 2006 for my in-laws' golden wedding anniversary. Should the dinner fall within this period, I'm a definite starter! |
| Posted By: Alan Posted On: Aug 3, 2005 Views: 933 | PGGS History Mo, are there likely to be any of the PGGS old girls who would be inclined to ensure the history of the school is forever documented on the site, in the way so much of the PGS history has been? With so many founder pupils around, and the school only 50 years old, it would be a shame if that most of the history couldnt be captured, especially at the threat of closure is looming...... |
| Posted By: Mo MacGregor/Harris Posted On: Jul 27, 2005 Views: 944 | Reunion 2005 I hope you all realise that the Girls' school opened its doors for the first time in October 1955. That makes this year the 50th Anniversary. Surely the school will be marking the event in some way? I was one of the founder pupils and was partly responsible, along with Gladys Lovelady and Barbara Davies, for the reunion in 1985. I'm happy to contact those people who came along then (we had about 60 attending, all founder pupils). I'm in Devon now but still know people in the area. How about it girls? | Posted By: duncan thomas Posted On: Jun 1, 2005 Views: 564 | 2005 reunion How can it be that there are so many of us regularly looking at the site but so few wanting to attend a reunion. Speed reunion--now there is a thought. |
| Posted By: Rosemary Lunt (Bolshaw) Posted On: Feb 5, 2005 Views: 751 | Reunion 2005 I think that those of us from PGGS who meet up regularly would welcome the chance to meet friends, both established and new. Nice one Trevor! |
