Free drinks

We get free drinks at work. I don't think we are supposed to, but even the boss does. I'd like to have a "quad grande iced coffee", but I cant have the caffeen, so I normaly go with the refresh or calm teas.

I want a white chocolate thingy, please.
(from illwillpress.com check out the toons page and there is a cartoon about starbucks that keeps all of us sane at the one I work at.)

Oh, I found a cool comic. Go to http://www.pawn.se/ Over 18 or whatever.

RE: Free drinks

Oh, sorry about that. My bad. I didn't think of that.

I just read the Von story, so I think that may be why I used that. I was invited to go to a nightclup by two of my best friends, and I wussed out. I promised them I'd go this Friday, as long as I don't have to dance. I'm realy the lameo, two girls ask me to go to the Haze with them and I don't go. I've got it realy bad for one of them anyway. She's taken, and sees me as her little brother, she's still my best friend so I'll have to go next week.

RE: Free drinks

You are young and should be going out! How old do you have to be to get into this club? You don't have to dance, I'm sure a lot of people won't be dancing!

RE: Free drinks

I'm not shure on the age. My brother was 18 the first time he went (and last). He is like the rest of the family, very redneck and close minded. It's an alternative bar, but everybody is welcome. Lol, I wish I had a picture of his face when he found out.

He was all excited couse a "realy hot girl" set on his lap. Just to find out that her girlfriend dared her to. Lol, I love it, lol.

I'm 21, but I don't drink, or dance. I'm probably the only person who lived in a collage dorm room for a year and didn't get drunk, "laid", stoned, or even write my name on the wall.

I'm going no matter what Friday. I need to get out. I'm going out with friends to a fun place. I've never done that before, it'm going to love it.

spelling and drinks

ok, so this is totally off the drinks/poll topic but i just wanna say that, on this particular tangent, i totally agree with DM. everybody just chill out for a minute about spelling. sometimes, it's just a typo. sometimes, people dont spell well. and sometimes they do it on purpose to see other people get ticked off about something meaningless. the ideas are so much more important than spelling (or capitalization for that matter).

kudos to DM

RE: Free drinks

It is one thing to have a spelling mistake or two. It is quite another to have half your text misspelled on every single post you make. People get on Dragonmaster because there is no way he should have been allowed to graduate with spelling as bad as he has and his obvious laziness in refusing to run his posts through a spell checker. He shows a lack of respect for himself and the reader.

RE: Free drinks

Spelling matters! Spelling matters! You nailed it with the "dose" because seeing "dosent" all the time drives me nuts! I know that not everyone is strong in spelling, but seeing how this is a message board, that is pretty much all there is to see here! I know, I know, it REALLY doesn't matter that much, but I agree with Bob, when a lot of the words are hosed you almost don't want to continue reading...

RE: Free drinks

Stupidity coupled with laziness should always be pointed out and ridiculed. Dragonmaster can't present a cohesive thought without having it get lost in spelling errors. Why type if you don't care what you are typing? When words are all you have to express yourself, they should be carefully chosen. I'm all for overlooking the occasional typo. I even consider myself a horrible speller, but c'mon... his posts are painful to read!

What's frightening is that most people write/type using better grammar than they do when speaking. Speaking being more casual and such. No chance to review what you’ve said. If that is true, can you imagine what it would be to have a conversation with DM? I wonder if it would intelligible.
