I called everybody at the office after a snow storm at like 6:00 AM and said the plowers could not plow and stuff so we locked the doors for the rest of the week. The freezing temps stayed for 48 hours. Weekend ended and then Monday came. Went in...boss and Prez of the company there saying I had some explaining to do. I said: "I never said they could not come in. Now that everybody is here...(looking around at all the faces)...I quit!" |

But with yours everybody is happy about having some days off. When I quit the theater job I had I went in to work on my last day, my boss didn't know it was my last. I had a pocket full of glitter. Right before we opened the boss came down and asked if I was ready yet, that by the time I got to the door and unlocked it that we'd be late opening. (dick) I asked him to look at a coin that I'd found on the floor, so when he came closer and stuck his head out at me I tossed a handfull of glitter in his face. Lol, he went into sneazing fits and stuff. I walked down and opened the door. A few of the people waiting to see the movie had seen it and where loving it. He had to serve all those people by himself, all glittered up couse he cut hours so badly that it was only me and him. I didn't get my last paycheck, but it was worth it. I knew I had some balls when I went back a week later and paid to see a movie. I swear I still saw glitter all over the place. |
