Indeed

All of the FF Piano Collections are extraordinary. It's amazing really; you can pick ANY music track from ANY Final Fantasy game, and it will end up sounding good when played by a piano. Why is that? Just one of the great mysteries of life, I guess......

yeah, right.

For the most part, RPG music sucks. Most of the time, I listen to other music and turn down the TV.

Heh, well...

About 49% of the music I OWN is videogame music (the rest is 49% anime and 2% other).
So, yeah, I do listen to videogame music when not playing videogames...

Yep...I like VG music

Not all the time, but I do have some cd's. I like the kingdom hearts, FFX, FFX2 and FF piano collections. Chrono Cross is also good.

HELL YEAH!!!!

I'm completely obsessed with Videogame music! I never listen to my old records, I only listen to the games' music.

Music

Dude, read the poll: it says 'do you listen to video game music while not playing a video game?' My answer- hell yes! Like the games themselves, the music is often ostracized and given a bad rap because there is so much bad VG music out there. But then again, IMO all music genres are fields of crud with a few wonderful gems sparkling through the brown miasima.

I listen whenever I am on my computer writing things for fun or for school.

Sometimes

Only when I have to do boring stuff like earn money/Gil/GP or earn ability points (esper gaining, job skills, etc). finding good combinations help, such as FF games with 80s rock in the background. Example: playing FF4 or whatever game you might like.... and in the background listen to "pour some sugar on me", or whatever other song you might like.
