The arena and monster catching sidequests were insanely tedious. As was getting the Magus Sisters. I hated blitzball. Btw, one of the prior posters mentioned Penance. Penance and the Dark Aeons weren't in the US version. They were in the European release. So many gamers, myself included, never played that sidequest. I still think FF8's cardgame is the best FF sidequest.
