| Posted By: pl Posted On: May 9, 2008 Views: 3643 | Love this album! The first song I heard from groundation was from the young tree album called "confusing situation"...after that I was just hooked and bought all the albums I listen to them for 3 years now and the songs never get old...still listen to them almost every day "we free again" is my favorite album together with "young tree" Music is the most high, praising and smile are my favorite tracks, but the whole album is actually really satisfying...I'll have to admit that it took me some time to appreciate this album But everybody who loves their studio works, must see their live shows...without a doubt one of the best you will ever see! |
| Posted By: Barry Posted On: Aug 22, 2007 Views: 3908 | groundation WOW a must buy for any reggae lover and meaningful lyrics with unbeleivable voices. I have been listening to this album non stop for a year and a half in my car in my home in my phone. I don't know whats wrong with me! i recommend song 1, 2 ,4, 7, 10, and i think probably the best song on the album is number 14 the seventh seal. good job groundation |
| Posted By: Jonathan Dolenar Posted On: May 31, 2006 Views: 4095 | Seventh Seal I discovered Groundation less than a month ago and have become one of their most devoted fans. The song Seventh Seal on this album makes my hair stand on end with it's lyric, "Who will rescue me, JAH will always recue me, music will always rescue me." You have to here the Harrison Stafford's hauntingly inspiring vocal style. |

| Posted By: andres Posted On: Jan 18, 2006 Views: 3109 | Liberate us from the empire of the US Groundation is one of the most important bands of reggae right after the king, the legend, Robert Nesta Marley. As soon as i heard a song from them, i started getting into them. Today i can say that Groundation speeks the truth, and as THEY say, we must be free ...please let us be free... |
| Posted By: `Ono Posted On: Dec 7, 2005 Views: 2816 | Killa Songs In my opinion, the best songs are Fourth Dimension and the Seventh Seal. I don't too musch for the rest because the rest of the songs are more Jazzy. The Cultural War songs are alright but the get kinda fast but good Lyrics. |
| Posted By: Rose Posted On: Nov 9, 2005 Views: 2804 | Revolution Groundation is the most culturaly conscience music i've ever been blessed to hear. I'm so impressed and they're music never ceases to amaze me, i'm so moved and inspired by their music. This and all of their albums are jammin, the best reggae, totally roots. I can't help myself but to dance my heart out when i listen to them. Groundation is starting a revolution w/ this music and Jah's children are comming together and uniting more and more every day, Thank You Groundation... Jah Guide |
| Posted By: The Observer Posted On: Sep 9, 2005 Views: 2793 | We Free Again Groundation's amazing musical talent is at its fullest in this album, and they are very likely one of the most talents groups ever formed. However, I think that it is a step down from their previous three records due to a lack of creativity in Harrison Stafford's lyrics. Each One Teach One was full of spirituality and Hebron Gate apocalyptic imagery, but the words in We Free Again is full of generalities, self-righteousness and dozens of references to "they" and "dem," never exactly knowing who they are. "One step forward, two steps backward" in the words of Max Romeo. |
| Posted By: Mark in Vancouver Posted On: Jun 21, 2005 Views: 2795 | Groundation: We Free Again My favourite of Groundation's first three. The jazz(I am NOT a jazz fan)laid atop the deep roots is like nothing I have ever heard before;just amazing. And Harrison Stafford's lyrics and the way he sings them... one of my top ten reggae albums. |
