They're insane, they smell, they bother decent people, and they bring property values down. That said, here's my story. So one random day I pull off the interstate and the light is red. On the side of the road, I spy one ugly urban outdoorsman holding the quintessential sign "Will work for food." Yeah, right. So I pick up some coinage from the console of my car, roll down the window, and with a swift fling, hurl it at the jobless goon, with several nickels striking him in the torso. So then the light immediately turns green and I'm on the move. The jobless goon is staring at me like I just killed his mother, so I scream out the window as I drive by "YOU KNOW YOU'RE GONNA PICK IT UP!!!" knowing full well that the goon would not pass up free cash, even at the expense of what last ounce of pride he'd be sacrificing. COMING SOON...Angling your car at the urban outdoorsman in the median as you speed through the stoplight (It really freaks them out!)... |

There are living quarters and programs designed to get them back on their feet but they choose not to utilize them. Most of the homeless around here are crack addicts. The second biggest group is alcoholics, followed by heroin junkies and meth heads. There should be areas of the city where vagrants can't go. That way, people could avoid them. |
