She went to work as a cook for various cafes in Stillwater. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, canning and fishing. (They should have added the words in Stillwater to the last sentence then it would have been even better/worse!)

He played tuba in the Tulsa and Claremore Civic Band for many years and gave music lessons. Now this dude accomplished so much, you probably won't actually read it all... He graduated from Anadarko High School in 1980. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany. He worked as a drill instructor at Ft. Sill, and in 1986, he became a member of the Army National Guard. He graduated from the BIA Police Academy in 1987 and was stationed at the Tonkawa Reservation as a police officer. He then attended Tonkawa Junior College and in May of 1990, graduated with an associate of applied science degree in criminal justice. He attended Northwestern University and in May of 1992, he graduated with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice, with a minor in psychology. In June of 1992, he moved to Laguna, N.M., at the Laguna Pueblo Reservation. He was a stay at home dad and family caregiver. He also worked as a tribal volunteer with the elderly and did repairs on tribal property before festivals. In December 1993, he was awarded the position of Pawnee Tribal Police Chief. He was the chief until January of 1995. During his tenure, he instituted a gang task force and drug task force for the reservation and the surrounding areas. He was forced to retire due to a disabling illness and was cared for by his immediate family and special nurse and caregiver, Douglas McClenny, LPN. He loved to play with his children, do arts and crafts, such as making Kachina dolls. He liked to fish and have picnics with his family. He was very devoted to his wife and children. He was a devoted Christian man and he knew the sound of God’s voice in his soul. He was affiliated with a Stillwater church.

A tax compliance officer, he worked 20 years for the Oklahoma Tax Commission and one year for the Oklahoma Corporation Commission. He was of the Baptist faith. He was a heavy equipment operator and a gun enthusiast and who enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and the outdoors.
