As long as the law does not directly go against the laws of God, we are called always to obey it. To disobey a law for any reason other than moral objection would be excessively prideful. |

A good example of this is what just happened in Gaza. By law the soldiers were required to force people out of thier homes, yet it was not morally right. In this case, I would have hoped that the soldiers would have had the sense to tell Sharon to go "F**K OFF" and instead, launch an invasion of Palestine (which is technically Israel's property anyway). Would an invasion of Palestine be legal? Yes. Would it be moral? Yes and no. Yes, because it would restore Israeli property to Israel. No, because there is a large risk of killing innocent children. Either way, legally right may be morally wrong. (Gay marriage is both morally and legally wrong, even if it is made "legal" by leftist retards). |
