He had one of the most amazing rock voices imaginable. I mean, listen to some of that stuff from Journey. He would hit high notes, full voice, with perfect accuracy, when it was necessary to actually be able to do that without the aid of technological pitch fixing. Steve Perry aside, I'd have to go with Freddy Mercury. That guy had a voice that still brings tears to my eyes. That song "Under Pressure" is a like a religious experience for me. |
