I've only heard two Sex Pistols songs (Anarchy and Liar) so I probably shouldn't even be posting this, but I will anyway. From those two songs, it seems to me that he sang about two or three notes in a song. Not a good singer, in my opinion.

It wasn't his real name. He adopted the name Rotten to reflect his rotten personality, I believe. In addition, his teeth were rotten.
