It was just the best, but this weekend is just like the ones before last weekend - that is totally crap. Anyway, the question is - Is it better to have a great weekend sometimes (just because they are good when you get them) or to never have one at all (so you're not disappointed when its crap because you compare it to the good one). Please, noone tell me I'm depressed because my wife tells me and I just dont want to know about it...OK? |

I'm not sure which you can recover emotionally from quicker, but I heard in a divorce recovery group that it takes five years to recover from a divorce. I am 2.5 years out of my marriage, and I am at the happiest place I have ever been in my life! I lost a lot of "stuff" and had to start over, but at least I'm not miserable...now if it was from death...my cousin lost her husband at the age of 38, three years ago, and she has started dating a great guy and is doing much better than she was the first year after her husband died...give it time, we all heal and move on! :-) |
