All of the members of his band took the first name of a famous female and the last name of a well known murderer to make their stage names. So...Marilyn, as in Marilyn Monroe, was mixed with Manson, as in Charles Manson, to create Marilyn Manson. Others in his band have included Madonna Wayne Gacy, Daisy Berkowitz, Twiggy Ramirez, and Gidget Gein. Are you getting the picture? |
