Speaking of poles...I went out with some co-workers last night and we met some guys that work for an electric company. My co-worker asked one of them if he was a pole climber and I just cracked up...

I was only joking! That is just nuts that it would do that...maybe your computer for some reason is going back to a previous date. Remember when it was saying January in March? I am NO computer geek at all, so basically, I am just rambling...I'll quit now.

no your on the right track...but this is a different computer...the old one has CMOS problems and the clock messes up all the time....this one is fine with that

There's usually one of those big tablet shaped batteries that keeps the system clock ticking when the computer is off, try replacing the battery and your probs should be gone.

that is the CMOS battery...switched the battery 3 times and no luck so its probly a bad motherboard.....as for the new comp, everything is fine except for oddtodd
