RE: Unemployment

i guess your right about the similiar situation, except im not worried about it at all...

im one of those ppl who just go along with what happens, i had to move here now i have to move again...wherever life takes me, to whatever job ....but im only 20, and my brother said he was like this when he was 20, and that when im a little older, ill start to care alot more and become more motivated, i believe it, so far we have been the same on everything.....anyways, until then 7$/hr works for me, theres nothing i need to pay for, nothing i want to buy ...yet

RE: Unemployment

Well, adam - the only danger in that is that now is the time for you to be setting up a great future for yourself. Later, you might find yourself married with a kid on the way and look back and think, man, I wish that I would have done this or that, and then you might feel trapped or financially strapped. It is okay to party and have fun when you are young, but some of your peers are Juniors in college and in a couple years are going to be making $30-50 a year to start out with a nice job/career. If you put off your life track, then your whole home ownership, etc...will be off track.

RE: Unemployment

Well GUW - a late start isnt a problem with me, and im not dumb enough to become strapped financially, like having a kid, being married etc...

"Later, you might find yourself looking back and thinking, man, I wish that I would have done this or that"

I always think that...ive done alot of stupid stuff, whether with a life issue, or something regretable at a party...but there are no reasons to my madness

and the ppl i went to school with, dropped out of college and stuff and there definately not gonna make anything more than i am, even the smart ones... most of them finished high school (a suprising amount havent and wont ever) but i will be soon, i dont mind...like i said, i will put things together soon

RE: Unemployment

adam, when I was your age I was just like you - no direction and no motivation. But at least I was lucky enough to have parents to push me to go to college and get a job. What's wrong with your parents?
