RE: reflex game

I think .156 is not for real. In athletics dont they have a minimum reaction time whereby the sight-->signal-->brain-->signal-->reaction time is like .2 of a second anyway, so a .156 must be a lucky click at the right time.

Hope you have a fake urine sample ready...

RE: reflex game

I just got 0.016 seconds. I kinda cheated though, I clicked before I saw it change. Probably how Adam got .150

I did a project on this in college in my Human Factors class. We graphed response times for a number of simple tasks. This one is simple, simply clicking when a stimulus is presented. Response time goes down with the number of choices available. For example, when you have 3 buttons and you have to hit one when it lights up, you would get a faster response time than if you had 5 buttons or 7 and on etc.

If a subject is guessing at the response without actually seeing the stimulus they will typically have a high incidence of responding before stimulus. In a study this subject would simply be discounted. Really, you should have virtually no occurances of this if the subject is really waiting to see the stimulus and not anticipating it.
