Posted By: Snrub Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1129 | Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) OMFG I have just got home from seeing the midnight screening of Star Wars Episode 3 here in Australia. It is just amazing, colossal....everything. Unless you are deaf, blind, dumb you REALLY need to see it. It ties in really well with the start of Episode 4 too. OK, its 3.05am and I'm off to bed, good night all!. |

Posted By: adam Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1116 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) i have never seen any of the star wars movies...well parts of an old one, i think if i wanted to watch them, i should start from the first or something |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1111 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) Okay adam - I don't know if I have ever been tortured and had to watch any of them either, but it goes like this, I think: Episode I Episode II Episode III - the new one Star Wars - the very first one The Empire Strikes Back Return of the Jedi correct? So actually, you would only have to watch Episodes I and II and then you could watch the old ones later... |

Posted By: The Almighty Doer of Stuff Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1098 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) Snrub, the phrase is "deaf, dumb and blind", not "deaf, blind and dumb". And "dumb" in that context means "not being able to speak", therefore should not prevent someone from watching a movie. Ever since I was a young boy/I've played the silver ball From SoHo down to Brighton/I must have played them all But I ain't seen nothing like him/In any amusement hall That deaf, dumb and blind kid/Sure plays a mean pinball etc. Also, the first Star Wars movie is called A New Hope, I believe. |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1094 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) Didn't know that, would that be the original one or the Episode I one? I am so confused... I remember having to play the songs in band and my daughter had to do that this year! LOL! Give Snrub a break, he is an Aussie! You know they evolved from prisoners! LOL! |
Posted By: The Almighty Doer of Stuff Posted On: May 18, 2005 Views: 1088 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) The original is A New Hope. Episode I is called The Phantom Menace. Episode II is called either Clone Wars or The Clone Wars (probably the latter), and Episode III is Revenge of the Sith. |

Posted By: Snrub Posted On: May 19, 2005 Views: 1066 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) I think in 1977 when Star Wars came out it was not a)Episode 4, OR b) called A New Hope. I think it was when they came out on video that they became part of a series and had the episode number and name added. It was a total nerd convention at midnight at my local cinema, apparently some of the bigger ones had like thousands of people turn up. There must have been heaps of sickies taken today (I presume you know what a sickie is). Its just really cool when that Star Wars music starts and the story thing starts to scroll...Its nerd heaven. |
Posted By: adam Posted On: May 19, 2005 Views: 1062 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) sickie? |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: May 19, 2005 Views: 1055 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) Calling in sick, but not really sick. |
Posted By: adam Posted On: May 19, 2005 Views: 1045 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) thats what i thought, but wasnt sure |
Posted By: Bakakage Posted On: May 19, 2005 Views: 1038 | RE: Star Wars - Episode 3 (no spoilers) Episode IV: A New Hope was called that when it orignally came out. The 9 book series was made before the movies were, and if you watch Episode 4 in that scrolling thingy at the beginning with the music it says A New Hope (i cant recall if it said episode 4 or not, im not that lame to watch it just to find out either. someone else here is im sure) Ug, its already 100 degree out right now. This weekend supposed to hit 110 all across the valley. Looks like i know what ill be doing...laying in the back yard trying to get a burn to tan this blinding white belly. |
