The screenwriting is pure genius. Graham Linehan and Arthur Mathews are to be congratulated as without their creative flair - Father Ted as we know it, may not have ever come into fruition! So from one fan to another - all the actors involved added their own spark and depth to each character, thus, making Father Ted one of the most loved comedy series of our time. Well done to all (R.I.P. D.M) and who knows, perhaps another Linehan/Mathews collaboration is not too far away! |

Its called Inis Oirr and its the smallest of the Aran Islands. The shipwreck you see at the beginning of each episode is called the Plassey. What a great programme. |

Especially TV is different. I now hate American TV, because the first TV show I watched out here was Father Ted. I own every episode, and met one extra. I love Father Ted, and even know every line to every episode! Thank you to the makers and actors, your all brilliant! |
