| Posted By: ninjatoes Posted On: Dec 16, 2007 Views: 340 | RE: link I think the one you're talking about is http://chokipeta.jp/C00_G1_02.htm (from http://chokipeta.jp/) It used to be in a Japanese game magazine (Dengeki Cube) a couple of years ago, but with scanners, and the internet, you do the math... Anyway: professional designers like Chokipeta always aim to make their models as easy as possible to build, so they also make the instructions as easy as possible; you don't actually have to be able to read the text. Usually the parts will be grouped together in a logical way (meaning close to the other parts they should attach to). Arrows often offer another glue of how to fold and glue each part and which parts should go together. If you're not sure, do a "dry-fit" (without glue) first, then when you're sure you folded and glued the part correctly, you can apply some glue and glue the parts together. Professional instructions usually also have an "exploded view" of all the model with all the parts showing and how to attach them to one another. And on the internet, you should be able to find pictures of the finished papercraft, so you can see what you're aiming for for extra help. I hope this helps, good luck and have fun building! |
