Posted By: Snrub Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1170 | RE: $1689 and up... You wont be needing a return ticket. |
Posted By: Joe Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1164 | RE: $1689 and up... It would be easier to hire a local ass-kicking company near him. They can even videotape it for you. |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1155 | RE: $1689 and up... I was just kidding, I just didn't want to seem like a stalker wanting to know how much it would cost to fly to Melbourne, Australia! LOL |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1153 | RE: $1689 and up... I have always wanted to go the Australia, but geez, that is expensive! My daughter went to France for $1800, which included airfare, hotel and two meals a day, plus some admissions to various castles, the Eiffel Tower, and other stuff, and that $1700 is just for airfare to Australia! |
Posted By: adam Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1148 | RE: $1689 and up... id rather stay in the wisconsin than go to the australia, or the anywhere for that the matter |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1130 | RE: $1689 and up... Wouldn't it be cool to see a kangaroo bolt through someone's yard? That would be awesome, but maybe that doesn't happen much. Snrub - the FedEx guy told me that his brother went to Australia for six weeks and thought the people from Sydney were jerks and more like Crocodile Dundee, and that he liked the people in Melbourne much better and he thought your part of the country was much more genuine. He also told me that girls just flock around him and his two British friends at the bars. I'm telling you, the accent...yea...you could get more chicks than Bob Dole! LOL |
Posted By: Snrub Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1128 | RE: $1689 and up... There has been a Melbourne / Sydney rivalry like forever, I've been to Sydney a few times and it totally sucks. Sydney, being the the business centre of the country, is much more hectic than Melbourne, and thats what I like about my home town. And I already have a woman that I am perfectly happy with GUW!!! And I suppose the airfare is because you can kind of go direct-ish to Paris but there's no quick way to go half way around the world is there? |
Posted By: GirlUWant Posted On: Jun 22, 2005 Views: 1126 | RE: $1689 and up... I know...I wondered where exactly the opposite of where I live is like if you stuck a rod through a globe in Oklahoma, where would the other end stick out and it ended up being in the ocean a little west of Australia! I know you are happy with your little woman, but seriously, your accent would be such a bonus for you over here. The FedEx man also suggested to me that if I ever travel abroad to wear Canadian shirts. |

Posted By: observant Posted On: Jun 23, 2005 Views: 1097 | RE: $1689 and up... The last time I went to Melbourne, I paid $600 round trip on Air Canada. Of course, that was from Hawaii. Check out Northwest and some other carriers. Sometimes they have specials on direct flights from LA to Sydney. |
