Maybe I'm getting too old to play the classics but being an old man I can do whatever I want! :D

Remembering

Well i started play rpgs when i was 10 and the game was FFVII, the greatest game of all time i think. I luved FFVIII And FFIX But one day i found my bros snes and i found secret of mana and crono trigger and played the both. I Started to luv the snes rpgs more then my PSONE rpgs
(but nothing is better then FFVII)
I liked the graphics in the snes rpgs.ez to see i think. When i played most of the snes rpgs i started to think about FFI. I luved ffII AND III so i wanted to play one and i continue to luv rpgs from all systems
(except N64 GENISES XBOX GAME CUBE)

Nostalgic

I began playing RPGs with FFII(IV) on the SNES, but found it too hard. FF: Mystic Quest was easier and boosted my confidence so I returned to FFII(IV) and played it through. I played halfway through FFVII, but I was starting to outgrow them and didn't have time for them anymore. I've been out of college for a year now and am returning to playing these games now that I have some more time. I recently played Chrono Trigger for the first time - fun! I plan on playing FFIII(VI) and then returning to FFVII. Oh, and Chrono Cross, too (eBay's got old Playstations for $10-$20...). Ah, they remind of simpler times...

Meh.

I liked playing RPGs ever since Dragon Warrior 1 for NES... I got into playing FF4 and FF6 when I found them on the SNES, I didn't know about other FF games on NES until later.

I don't like the newer RPGs now like WoW or DAoC because of the fact that they ruin your imagination, character looks in games are better when they don't have much detail and let your brain do the thinking on how they look.

Whatever

I'm 18 now, I started playing RPGs with FF7, I continued with the best ones, XenoGears, Chrono Cross, etc, and I was actually begin to like them until I realized RPGs were beginning to get boring, due to the never-changing plot system, to the repetivity of their themes and to the flatness of the characters (maybe they're not flat, but does that matter when they look all the same?). At last, after seeking for something interesting for months, when I saw FF12's trailer I decided to abandon RPGs because, with a few exceptions, I understood they are all teen-oriented and commercial and therefore they suck.

RPG's

I love RPG games ever since i played FFmystic quest for the SNES and i now love the rpgs for the ps2 and i still love FF because of the story lines, hidden character histories and motives and the cool weapons and techs.

I'm 19.... been playing rpg's ever since FF1. I only like the older ones though, anything from the PS2 or afterward is not my scene. Long live FF4 and other classics!

14-19

I'm 16 now but I must of started playing RPG's when I was about 10. I still have a good few hundred I need to play through! It's overwhelming... I can easilly see myself one day in the 30-40 age group and still gaming. =)

Too bad for being old

I be proud to admit that I be one of the few in the 30-34 bracket....It just goes to show that reality and life in general sucks everything simple out of ones life!
I might be old but I still enjoy a good classic RPG and my young children enjoy following along with the game faq's and especially with the monster guides.

Keep preserving the classics....sometimes its the simple things in life that keeps one going!

25-29

I have heard that the average gamer actually falls within this range, and actually older than me (I am 25, IIRC the average gamer is 29 or so) ...

I wonder why the poll slants this way ...
