Yes, dressing a dog in most of the country seems a bit like the crazy lady on the corner who crochet's clothes for her children, who go to school and get picked on, but you have to remember: YOU LIVE IN NEW YORK CITY! (ie. a completely different world.) As a New Yorker myself, you have to remember that NYC is all about attitude, class, and fashion. So look around, it's almost a status symbol to dress your dog. Where else in the country do dogs get better service in STORES than we do? Should you dress your dog in the raincoat? Hell yeah! We live in NYC, baby, live it up! -Priest- |

I am saying it is stupid to think that everyone that lives in NYC is so much hipper than the rest of the world and have it better than everyone else. If a persons feels needy enough to dress their dogs JUST to have a four legged status symbol...welll....they need to shoot themselves right now. That's sad. Todd got Roscoe to have a DOG not a status symbol (right Todd?)...whether he has a coat, a sweater, or a pink tu-tu....or his own fur...I think you should give Roscoe credit for being awesome on his own! Screw what is trendy and popular! Especially when it compromises the dignity and comfort of the dog! |

Obviously you missed the humor in my post (along with the truth). NYC is a world of it's own, and not because everyone is so much "hipper" or better, but because everything is so much more "twisted" (good and bad). But that truely is something that is hard to fathom unless you live here. -p- |

(bad day at work)so to speak...I know that you probably arent really the way that I interpretted you as being from your post. I know that NYC is different from where I live but, I just don't think I would want to live in a place where a dog gets treated better than a person in a store. But never the less, we live where we do because we have that choice to do so. Given a chance to live where you live I would probably understand what you meant much better than I chose to interpret from the few lines I judged you from. Difference of opinion is what makes people interesting and once again I am sorry for saying that what you said was the stupidest thing I have ever heard just because I didnt agree with you.
