yes, depending

The answer really depends on the dog. If the dog really hates it and spends every second in it trying to tear it off I'd say don't for the dogs sake. I have a dog about Roscoe's size and I think it's fine to have a raincoat if it's raining hard but not if it's sprinkling. Sweaters are fine if the dog will be out for a while or it's really cold because otherwise the dog may become very cold and shiver and such. So my advice is to dress dog with caution paying attention to the weather.

RE: yes, depending

my freind has a dog who's paws crack from the salt put on the street in winter time to minimize ice. this dog wears booties for walks all winter because of this. if your dog is not medically effected by weather dont dress it up. fashion is silly enough without getting our pets in on it.
my 2cents.
