Shouldn't you be getting laid right now girl? If I had a twenty-six year-old, I think I would be getting it on right about now!

LOL! Last night we started a cleaning frenzy at 1230 and finished around 230 then he got his butt up early for work. Now he's passed out - rare for him to fall asleep first. I think we're gonna do a little wine country Sat/Sun - gotta road trip in the new car ;)

RE: cuppajane

I guess I am dating the other "Dell"

So, does the new Scion seem tiny? You know, I considered one of those for like a day...I am glad with what I bought, but the two attractions to the Scion were of course the price, but also the gas mileage. I never actually got to drive one. What else did you look at? At first I wanted to get a Corolla, but when I saw the car that I did buy at the post office with the previous owner, I just knew that I had found the perfect car for me!

What color did you get, and how is the stereo?

RE: cuppajane

it's definitely tiny...it's a matrix but shorter. We just knew we were getting a Civic for at least a month. Then we decided to see what was the cheapest decent car out there. Since the Scion has the toyota echo engine and tranny we decided that it couldn't suck. (consumer reports had good stuff to say as well as "it's a loud ride) 31-38 gas mileage. Pioneer cd/mp3 player it good enough. It's a definite upgrade from my 93 Nissan truck with the dealer cassette stereo!
Light grey, no bells or whistles like the keyless entry but power locks/windows is standard. No haggling, so after taxes we walked out at just over 15k. It's an odd car - dash is centered but it's utilitarian all the way. If I had tons of $ I'd be hauling around in a Landcruiser..ahh to dream.

Landcruisers are pretty neat, but I am sticking with my dream car being a BMW. I am just attracted to them like I am to Vin Diesel. I see a picture of Vin Diesel and I will just stare at it for five minutes. I will stare at a BMW like that, too! LOL

RE: cuppajane

Loud pipes, that is talking about motorcycles...I think a loud ride that they are talking about is loud interior noise, which would not be a good thing.
