Responsible Breeding

All pets should be altered unless they are being breed RESPONSIBLY. A responsible breeder is defined as someone who is breeding to better the breed and not for a profit. Often times these breeders will also require that their puppies be altered if the person purchasing the pup is not also planning to be a RESPONSIBLE breeder. They will also require the pup to be altered if the pup is not up to standard and therefore cold not successfully better the breed of dog by being bread. Also, a RESPONSIBLE breeder will have a contract stating that the dog must be returned to them in the event that the person who purchased the dog can't/won't keep it. DON"T LITTER, SPAY/NUETER YOUR PETS!

RE: Responsible Breeding

Hitler wasnt taken into account improving health and temperment.. he was just a self-hating person.

In fact responsible breeding is breeding for improvements of the breed. The improvements are usually for health (such as removing issues such as hip displasia from a line) to temperment. Behaviors are influenced by genetics.. so you dont breed the snippy ones so, unless badly raised, a dog will have a better disposition.
