I don't care about their superiorly stable OS (I like having to reboot every 10 seconds, thank you very much), and I don't care about their savvy and sleek bodies (because the only person who buys a computer because its pretty, shouldnt be aloud to own a computer anyway). Wait... I got off on a tangent... back to my original rant. I-Pod's and I-Pod shuffles. I have nothing personally against the I-Pod itself... but the fact that there are people in this world stupid enough to spend $350 on a 30gb I-Pod when Creative Audio is selling a 30gb nomad FOR $180 DOLLARS AND ITS JUST AS GOOD!!! "It's not as pretty / Its interface is different / Its less user friendly." None of these are good arguments. Once again, if you're buying electronics because they're pretty, you shouldnt be aloud to be buying things. SO what if its interface is different. I'd eat my dinner off the floor of the communal showers in my dorm for the next four years if I (or my parents, for that matter) wouldn't have to pay for any of it. (Which is relevant...). And its less user friendly? If you can't figure out a Nomad... you're retarded. My mom can use my Nomad. Next thing is the I-Pod shuffle. Just the fact that they invented the I-Pod shuffle is Macintosh's way of bitch slapping everyone in the face for being retarded. $150 for a little piece of crap that plays like 50 songs! Why can't people just put their I-Pod ON SHUFFEL!!! That is an option, isn't it? Or is that not part of the savvy interface with the sleek 'pearl bodies.' The only people who can get away with having an I-Pod without me losing any and all respect for them, is someone who got one as a present (Because that means that they suckered someone else into wasting a significant amount of money on them...) Except Todd... He has an Ipod and he's still cool... I'm done ranting now |

| Posted By: Rox Posted On: Jul 26, 2005 Views: 910 | RE: Apple Sucks i bought a creative zen micro for $200. this device is meant to compete with the ipod mini and blows it away in every category. it has a full gig more storage space, it costs less, the interface is awesome, it's smaller, i can use it with programs other than itunes (even media player can sync with it), it has a built-in fm tuner that can record radio into mp3 for later use, it has longer battery life, it can support more file types, and it's got a battery i can access and replace by itself if it ever dies (i don't have to send it to the factory to have it replaced) |

It's not user friendly when the only way to eject a damn disk is to drag an icon to the trash can icon (that will move around the more you try to point it in), rather than just pushing a button on the computer tower. The one-button mouse thing feels too weird. |
