I've gotten used to most of the Arizona (And western USA) terminology... such as 'Cussing' (instead of Swearing) 'Bawling' (instead of crying) and 'Suckers' (instead of lolly-pops) but I still giggle every time someone says pop. It's like dating a really needy girl. With baseball, theres anticipation, excitement, hopes, a reason to get worked up, like with a noral chick. But with basketball, if you want excitement, just turn on the damn game. They're going to be running around willy-nilly regardless of what the hell is happening, I don't see the point. |
