I have only gone to the theater once this summer to see War of the Worlds. One of the girls that I work with is a Jessica Simpson freak, and is upset because she might not be able to see the movie tomorrow because her great-grandmother's funeral is tomorrow. |

At what point does Johnny Knoxville and that other guy even remotely resemble HOT??? And whatever about JS, I don't hate her but I don't love her either. I can see paying to see March of the Penguins-looks like a good one for the big screen-but everything else that's out looks like rentals. I just had to see War of the Worlds and walked out laughing at it. Tom Cruise was the same as he always is..lame. I was really excited in the first few minutes with that scene with TC walking with his boss with the huge trucks zooming by-I thought I was in for a Spielberg treat. But alas, it turned into a mishmosh of silly scenes. The costumes and blue collar people were sad. It felt like a Michael Jackson video. The aliens were way too animated for me to suck in and believe any of it. And that little girl needed to not scream every other second. She freaks me out. She's a 40 year old trapped in a little body. |

My mom had a green four-door 1968 Dodge Coronet, which was basically the sedan version of that car, done up family style. That car was huge, the hood was really long. I hate big cars! Her first Lincoln Town Car seemed ridiculously big. Now she drives a new Beetle and a Town Car. I will be glad when they stop playing Jessica Simpson's version of These Boots Were Made For Walking...she is a little too breathy in that song... |
