My weird-ass dream, for real...

I had this totally weird dream last night...my boss, Jeff, is currently in Aspen with his family...in my dream, somehow I ended up in Colorado and Jeff picked me up in his black Denali and instead of taking the highway to Aspen, we fly over the rocky mountains IN the Denali! I was like, holy ****, Jeff, what are you doing? He was like, I do this all the time...so we are probably just 100 feet above the mountain peeks and I am looking down, freaking out because we are flying pretty fast over the rocky mountains in a DENALI!!!

Analyze that one...

I seriously don't want to sleep with Jeff, but I am currently involved with a car salesman, but I really like this guy that is a pilot...

You ate too many Doritos before going to bed. That happens to me all the time, except the Denali is blue.

RE: My weird-ass dream, for real...

Bob - this is the story there...when I was looking at cars, I talked to him on the phone a few times and he seemed very flirty with me. He sold my dad his new truck and probably remembered that my dad just wrote a check for it...and so he knows what my family is like...anyway, I went in to give another salesman a new hat from my dad's company and so he called me while I was driving down the road and asked for a hat, so when I went back and gave him a hat, and so he asked me out...he actually makes really good money, he is the top salesman for all of that companies' car lots. He doesn't want to be a manager, because he can make more money selling cars. He is pretty cool, he is ten years my senior, but he looks pretty good for 51, so we'll see...I have gone out with him twice now, but since he is male, he is still very confusing to me!

Ah. The ole "I don't want to be a manager" deal. He's just the kind of person that doesn't want the responsibility.

51 with an entry level sales job. Good work.

No offense, but he's a loser.

RE: My weird-ass dream, for real...

Actually, he is not a loser. He had a business before and was quite successful and didn't want to spend the crap-load of money that the EPA required to put in new lines for his gas station/service station and so he bailed on that and decided to sell cars. He was asked to run for mayor before of his yes, small town, but I think he was quite the big fish in a little pond. He has an almost anal type A personality and therefore is pretty good at sales. He doesn't want the manager position because he likes to make mon-ay and doesn't want to have to baby-sit some young salesperson. Like I said before, he is always the top salesperson for all of their company that has several dealerships. You know...my ex-husband made $100,000 and was a total loser as a person...money is not everything...you know that...both of his kids have graduated from college and his son is a professional rodeo dude, so I think that shows some success right there...

RE: My weird-ass dream, for real...

managers dont get paid on comission, a salesman does, and if hes the top one, he probably makes alot more..
so why get paid less with more responsibilities?

oh thats right, its someone other than bob dole, that is why he is a loser, because only bob dole is successful

i would bet that guy makes more than you do, bob...a guy at a dealership in milwaukee (where my bro went to get his new car) he makes OVER 100k and he is just a salesman (for some reason everyone likes him, trusts him, and makes things happen for ppl with bad credit, so hes widely popular)

RE: My weird-ass dream, for real...

I don't buy it adam. I have friends in the car business and there really isn't a lot of markup on a car. Even with the kick back from the factory they are lucky to make $1500 profit. They aren't going to give much of that to a salesman. They make a bit more on used cars but even then, to make over a 100K a year selling cars, it would be near impossible. Sounds like he was jerking you around which would suprise me because lots of car salesam are total posers.
