If it smells bad, then I definitely wouldn't eat it! The cheap stuff in the pre-packaged things lasts longer than fresh deli meat which has less preservatives. If the meat starts getting slimy in the package, for sure throw it away! Gosh, that is so disgusting. Don't eat mushy deli meat...not worth getting sick over,seriously! If you are talking about chicken that you cooked yourself and stuff, that usually doesn't last very long either like two or three days and then throw that crap away. |
