Ravager

I've actually had more experience with the Ravager, and I've found that it's an incredibly useful unit. It can withstand a crapload of damage, and above all, it just runs everything over. No hit-and-run necessary, just run and run over. It's a great thing to use, and gets better if you load it with Tesla Troopers. That way, if you're attacked by a large army too big for your Ravager alone to take care of, deploy the Tesla Troopers and you can at the least do some major damage if you wind up losing the confrontation.

Also, the Grand Rapier is incredibly useful, especially in outposts (assuming you're far enough ahead to be able to afford it - but either way, you're better off spending money on Patriot Missiles). It can indeed rip apart Harriers, Black Eagles, and Kirovs LONG before they get to the base. Remember, it uses the shockwave warhead that spreads damage on impact? Ring a bell? It's a very useful defensive structure, assuming you can afford to have it in a well-developed base. You're better off building Patriot Missiles for early game anti aircraft measures, so in the end, you can sell those and build more Rapiers if you feel the need. Rapiers aren't really useful if you're facing computers that are Soviets - they never pose any threat by attacking from the sky. If you give them long enough to develope their base, they will start launching Kirovs at you, but even then, Kirovs tie up their factories for a while, so they spend more time building up a land army. If you're having real trouble taking down Kirovs and don't feel like building AA structures, build 5 IFVs or Flak Traks. When you see Kirovs closing in, send the IFVs/Flak Traks out to take them down early. Are either of those as powerful as an AA structure? Not until they're elite, but even then, an elite unit is useful in other ways too, so you're getting more benefits that way, too.

Even know it cannot anti air,but I love that firepower of maingun and the addition of two machine guns,anti tanks and infantries(I even use it to kill Appocalipse tank and Stalin's fist by one to one combat)

THe BR units

The Grand Rapier as well as the Fireclaw are my favourite units. I'm usually pretty good with ground unit defense, but more often than not I find that I'm lacking in my air unit defense. Both the Fireclaw and the Grand Rapier compliment my defenses pretty well. I also like the Mole Machine APC, as well as the Rad Artillery.


Someone earlier made a comment that the Scorpion Raiders were good when used in the tank bunkers. I have found that to be a pretty good defensive tactic, actually.

A lot of stuff...

I think the scorpian raider is ok... It might not work that good against infantry but there r other stuff to take care of that! I did think the Crocodile sucked indead. Its anti-air missle wasn't good enough. Better then Grand Rapiers though, illd rather build Patriots (like Lokey said) then paying 2500 for these crappy things. Thats just me. Further on i thought all units were ok, though i still think the King Tiger is the best!!!

Beyond Revenge Additions.

I enjoy the Beyond Revenge special units. The Fireclaw is a great addition especially, really really useful. Same with the Grand Rapier, that was a cool base defence.

Hint: Elite Fireclaw + Yuri's Tank Bunker = Pawnage. :-D

The Ravager and the Mole Machine are great additions to Cuba and Yuri's forces, respectively. A few Mole Machines plus Chaos Drones and Brutes in front of an incoming tank force...well..good bye tanks! XD! I also liked the Ravager's ability to crush vehicles, that was a nice addition. Apocalypse Tanks threatening your terrorist rush? Run 'em over!

Very nicely done Cannis. Keep up the good work!

Um hell no.

Um no it does not, the only time it managed to kill them was that my infantry were at low health. Otherwise the missle itself is USELESS. Sure the gas after an infantry dies can kill them but can it do enough damage to kill one before it dies itself. Try using 5 conscripts, gis or intiates, takes a while but all WORK.

Infantry CANNOT kill it easily unless it runs into a building full of them or you pay more than $2500 on infantry to attack it with, as it is very hard and has the chem tipped missiles that own infantry...

Grand rapier does not suck... try waiting till they get to elite, they take down harriers easily, and even kirovs cant get past them in one piece... a lone kirov is about as much use as 1 harrier will the only AA thing for the allies that fires faster are the agies cruiser,

The scorpion raider, its best suited to defense, try putting them in tank bunkers outside your base.. its basically a faster firing, more heavily armoured version of a V3.

also.. cannis, if your readin this, can we have more chrono stuff? like a chrono tower, or the chrono prision that westwood promised us and never gave us?

Kirovs might but its pointless when you're fighting, aircraft carriers, dreadnoughts, boomers, harriers, and black eagles. PAtriots would actually be more effetive since they'ere cheaper and do more damage if you build two of those, face it, it SUCKS.

Sr: Excuse me Soviets do not have tank bunkers so unless you get them using yuri they're useless(Not to mention the fact that infantry can kill it easily.)

Chrono Stuff: Nah don't add it. It's a too common idea and plus Chrono stuff sucks really bad unless either:
1.Super fast erasing but limit.
2.A LARGE ARMY OF CHRONO UNITS.
3. Sneak attacks.
4.Small maps.
5. No chrono movement.
