I totally agreed with him on the War of the Worlds movie review, and Snrub loved the Wonka movie which tOdd tore up pretty bad. I haven't seen that movie. I wanted to see Wedding Crashers but I haven't seen it either. |

The only problem with those movies are that they're both really too long. They are like two hours or something like that. |

His problem with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was that he went in expecting a remake of Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. It's not though. CatCF is a remake of the original book, not the adaptation that is WWatCF. It's actually pretty close. It uses the original songs from the book, which are much better than the stupid annoying repetitive "Oompa loompa doompity doo". There's actually variety in the songs. One is disco, one is technorock, etc. Plus the scenery was just beautiful. Johnny Depp did a great job. It was just a generally great movie. One of the few book adaptations that are just as good as the original book. Definitely worth watching. |
