| Posted By: Red Head Posted On: Sep 16, 2005 Views: 555 | Fire Drills I work at a junior high school. We just had our first fire drill of the year. I was sitting at my computer desk typing away when all of the sudden really load noise and flashing lights and I see a fire marshal outside of my office. GRR. I know that students love fire drills but we grown ups hate them. They ruin the day. Kids leave their brains outside or something. It takes a long time to settle back into working after something like that. I should have known because I got a memo yesterday about fire drill procedures. I never remember ever having fire drills anywhere else I worked. I also dont remember fire drills in college. Are they just in schools so kids learn what to do and then they carry that information with them when they grow up and join the work force? Does any one else have to deal with fire drills at work? |
