Posted On: Sep 29, 2005 Views: 511 | RE: The Black Jesus Someone sent that to me like that because someone wrote it as how the media spinned the news, it was actually titled What I learned from the news the last ten days. For instance...the attitude of white people will change when they figure out that the black population of their town might go up now that the hurricane scattered poor black people around the country a little bit. That will scare some white people, but really it might be a nice opportunity for some poor black people to get in a nice community with some decent opportunities and realize that they can do better than be in a place that just has poor wages and just guessing not very good schools for their children. It could really test them, but it could be a great thing for their offspring and their offspring. I have never visited New Orleans, but I hear that it was kind of grody, so I think the 23 million dollars of improvements are right on. I think the comment about a tree blowing down in Mississipi is on the list to make a statement that nobody really covered the huge damage there because there was so much media attention to New Orleans, where if New Orleans wouldn't have happened, there would have been huge coverage in Mississippi. As far as the television looting, that really happened and seemed kind of dumb. I would have probably looted Snicker bars if I was totally desperate and there was no way that I could have purchased one, at that point, it would have been more of a survival call, and I think in that case, it is acceptable, but who needs to rob a television under those circumstances? Nobody. |

Now over the past month or so, we have had 3 cases of this same black guy going around at night in the central part of the city (around where they were housing refugees) and sexually assualting women. Same guy in all 3 cases, and he was wearing the same clothes too. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if he was one of the refugees. Yeah, there are a lot of black who will get a deserved break and chance for a new life, and just as many who will abuse the chance. Hmmm...tornados are considered the bain of Poor White Trash...are hurricanes going to be the same for poor blacks? (waits for a hurricane to somehow make it to inner city projects of detroit lol) |
