cars...duh

i think we should all buy hybrids. because seriously people, you complain and complain (and i do it too) about these gas prices that are going to keep going up, and yet you keep purchasing it. wouldn't it be easier to just invest in one big expensive thing instead of a thousand little expensive things? and also, when waiting in your car, please turn it off. even when you are waiting in a drive-thru, just turn it off. think of all the gas you save by turning the key every mintute or so.
wasting gas on automobiles=bad
saving it for other things=good

im not sure, but i think it has been said that you take the same amount of gas turning it on/off as you do leaving it idle

i suppose it would depend majorly on the car

it's the same for electricity, plus it wears down the lightbulbs so I always just leave them on, I figure hey, why not save some money by just closing my eyes instead of turning off the lights?

hybrid technology hasn't advanced far enough into efficiency yet (probably due to the OPEC lobby). The battery systems on those things weigh close to 1200 lbs, using up tons of fuel on drag. and they only use electricity under like 26 miles an hour. who drives that slow?

whats that little hybrid car that looks like a tiny mouse car? prius? they get like 60 something (i think)mpg...ive seen a few around here...they must be economical with mpg like that, and they go at freeway speeds....you just wouldnt have one fly past you on the freeway
