Good Grief

I think that a lot of those indicate whipped. I'm female and it drives me nuts when the guy constantly calls me or always wants to me with me. And as a side note, even though it wasn't an option, I can't stand women that crab about the toilet seat being up! The argument is full of flaws.

Woman: I use the toilet with the seat down. You should always put the seat up.
Man: I use it with the seat up. Following your logic, then when you are done, you should raise it for me.
Woman: Uh, uh...
Man: Yeah that's what I thought - if you weren't so lazy as to actually look to see if the seat is down, then you wouldn't fall in.

Woman: Why is it so hard for you to put the seat back down? All you have to do is flip it down.
Man: Why is it so hard for you to put the seat down? All you have to do is flip it down. I actually do more work because it takes more work to pick it up and lift it when one well placed flick of a finger will put it down.
Woman: Uh, uh...
Man: Come to think of it, why don't you ever have to lift the seat for me? You expect me to lower it for you.
Woman: Uh, uh...
Man: Yeah, that's what I thought. Just shut up and pee.

Just to let everyone know, I don't get all riled up with the toilet seat is up. I just put it down. I'm public ladies rooms, I'm mystified if that happens, but it's none of my business, right? I just put it down and pee.

RE: Good Grief

I think you meant put the seat down in the first scenario - but why should I always be the one to put it down? He's just lazy.

RE: Good Grief

hmm... I always wondered that - couldn't figure out the logic either. My boss almost fired me once when I questioned why I had to put the toilet seat down.

Toilet Seat

This is annoying to me too... it's just one of those things that society tells women that they should get ****ed off at men over, so they do.

RE: Good Grief

Not to fear with me. Leave the seat up for all I care. I'm not afraid to put it down myself. The only thing I get honked off about is when men DON'T raise the seat and pee all over it because that's gross. I'd rather lower the seat myself 1000 times than wipe up his pee once.

RE: Good Grief

Okay. So, 50% of the time, the toilet is used to **** in. That means that the other 50% of the time, people are using the toilet to **** in.
I don't care who you are, male or female, most people don't **** standing up.
Therefore:
Female sits 100% of the time.
Male sits 50% of the time.
Average = 75% of the time, someone's sitting down. It just makes sense to have the seat down most of the time.

RE: Good Grief

I shit once every one or two days, while I **** several times a day. However, even if men only sat down 0.000000000000000000000000000000001% of the time, it still comes out to greater than 50%, so the logic stands.

RE: Good Grief

your numbers are wrong. the shit to piss ratio is probably one out of seven or eight... that means the margin is a lot smaller than you say.

Plus, if I was a woman and saw the seat up I would appreciate that the guy bothered to lift it instead of just leaving it down.

RE: Good Grief

I think what I'm saying is that even if people are sitting 55% of the time or whatever, a finger flick is a lot less effort and than a lift. Really, any woman who gets upset about that is a psycho.

RE: Good Grief

If you see the seat up, at least you can be pretty confident that the seat is clean. if its down you can say "oh how nice, he put it down for me" or "did he lift it at all? better wipe it"

RE: Good Grief

complaining will not help. especially when those fung-shwayers show up and then you have to factor in the seat cover routines - i.e. you have the seat movers and the seat cover movers. just do what you gatta do and forgetaboutit.
